I am an artist, art conservator and museologist. In my post graduation, I took the risk of shifting the subject of my practice from painting to Museology studies which introduced me to different parameters involved in museum practice. These exposures have left me curious towards gaining practical knowledge, as there is less or no such opportunity to work in museum in the city I live. Fortunately I got the chance to practice art conservation at INTACH, ICI Bangalore in 2011. I took up because I strongly believed that art conservation is also important aspect to museum. Working at INTACH created lot of opportunity to get closer to museum and many art collators and organization.I have gained exposure working on different mediums of art work by renowned artists from India. All these valuable experience added value to my further practices, In four years span I have acquired a great deal of knowledge about conservation and also on museum present structures in and around Bangalore.Presently working as museum curator at HERITAGE MUSEUM, NIMHANS Bangalore from Feb. 2016. And I like to use all my learning, experience and setting a benchmark which will allow reputation for this medical museum doing justice to the intention of this museum. With this I also work as museum consultant through Gayathri & Namith Architects for seting up the Kaginele Museum, Government project in Karnataka
